After declaring bankruptcy for a second time back in Fall 2015, American Apparel, the one stop shop for all your basic clothing necessities is shutting its doors. The company was acquired by Gildan Activewear for $88 million, including intellectual property and machinery. The shut down will include the L.A. Headquarteres and all 110 U.S. stores by the end of April.
