Designers are dropping like flies out of NYFW! You’d think of New York as one of the fashion capitals of the world but as of late designers are taking their talents elsewhere. Not only that, others are feeling is having a runway show even necessary? After further research it all boils down to two reasons: high demand and all incorporating fashion into the culture.
Most brands rely on the press during these shows to gain traction, momentum and to be buzzworthy for the season. With recent dropouts new brands are scrambling to take these spots because they know what it entails, for other established brands, who don’t heavily rely on those services anymore, are now looking for new ways to reach customers through innovative creative productions.
It’s bittersweet.
