Pair with a vintage tee and high waist leather pants or a simple bold red lip and hoops for an edgy 90s feel.
Contrast colors and patterns with stylish accessories. The red and the camo balance each other perfectly .
For the minimalist, less is more obviously. Throw on your beret with a simple overcoat and you’re ready to go.
Recently I stumbled upon an Australian based company called Lack of Color Hats. It’s known for its variety of men’s and women’s hats in array of styles and colors. Their assortment varies from berets, messenger caps, wide brim fedoras and more.
To shop the collection head over to Lack of Color Hats or view them on Instagram @lackofcoloraus
Find. A name you’ll be seeing all over…maybe? Amazon launches their first in house fashion brand, with a whopping 500 womenswear pieces and 200 styles for men. Cosmo calls it a mash up between “Finery and Topshop only with some seriously affordable prices.”
I headed on over to Amazon to view the collection and to my surprise it wasn’t what I thought it would be. Lots of basics in neutral tones, pleats, and velvet textures. I did stumble upon some gems as I thought to myself I’d definitely buy that, but the more I scrolled the less enthused I was. However Telegraph states,
“What might surprise the fashion industry is that Amazon’s collection isn’t a bargain-basement attempt to undercut rivals on the price of basic T-shirts. Instead it is challenging rivals with more fashion-forward items: patent boots cost £56 ($72), high-waisted skinny jeans are priced at £26 ($34), while a checked blazer is £40 ($52).
It’s their first go-around so I see why they played it safe. I can definitely say that 99% of the collection is great for layering. More for the minimalist in you.
Find. has launched exclusively in the UK. While this is the first in house fashion brand for Amazon, the company has also quietly released 8 private label brands ranging in categories from food, fashion, beauty, and home.
Talk about one stop shop! Amazon is stopping at nothing to gain that consumer loyalty. To check out Find. click here, you’ll never know you might find something you love.
Fashion week is among us and you can feel it allll in the air. Whether you’re living vicariously through Instagram and Snapchat or you’re attending shows at the Skylight and other exclusive venues, there’s no doubt that the feeling this season is electric.
This season I attended the Mac Duggal show. Aside from the waiting forever outside then for the show to start, it was a beautiful show.
Duggal hit all my fav aesthetics in this collection, plunging necklines, blush tones, and war metals. Lots of fringe and beading as well. Models strutted down the runway in all shapes, sizes and ethnicities which I was glad to see.
I also attended the Lexus x Interview Magazine How Fashion Travels Exhibition. This was cool. Upon entering there was this duo who were super adamant about photographing attendees with style. Then there was “the cube” Great photo op, however I didn’t get the full experience due to another girl wanting to share the cube with me. ONE AT A TIME DAMMIT! -_-
Complimentary hair and makeup booths along with nail techs were scattered among the venue to give you the full treatment.
There was also an actual LexusLC model at the exhibit to take a photo with. Photographers gave direction and you struck a pose.
I didn’t get to hit all the spots on my list for the day but it was a great time overall. Hopefully I’ll be back in February with even more recaps for you all.
As many of you witnessed last week on Instagram, Rihanna teased followers about the the launch of her beauty line, Fenty Beauty, dropping on September 8th at Sephora.
The teaser video shows nothing but beautiful, diverse women, and the line is nothing short of that. The collection is said to have 40 shades within its release, so there is a shade for just about anyone of any complexion out there!
The line also includes highlighters “Ginger Binge” “Moscow Mule” and “Trophy Wife”
This is looking to be the hottest beauty drop of the season and these other brands better watch out. With Nicki Minaj x M.A.C and Balmain x L’Oreal launching in the next few weeks I’m eager to see what these number are going to look like. Stay tuned for updates once the full collection drops.
